1. Who We Are & Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how SniperFlow.ai ("SniperFlow", "we", "us", or "our") handles personal information in connection with the PTR-Tracker desktop application, the SniperFlow.ai websites, the web portal and dashboards, the copy-trading ("mirror") features, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").
SniperFlow.ai is a technology provider. We are not a broker, futures commission merchant, or financial adviser, and we do not execute trades or hold customer funds. This policy applies to information we handle as a business; it does not govern the separate platforms and brokers you connect to, each of which maintains its own privacy practices.
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account & contact information — the email address you register with, and any name or display name you choose to provide. Your PTR-Tracker "trader name" is optional and set by you.
- License & device information — your license key and non-sensitive device identifiers used to activate and validate your license (including our two-device activation limit), such as a hashed machine fingerprint, operating system, and application version.
- Subscription & billing information — records of your subscription status, plan, renewal dates, and transaction identifiers. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processors (PayPal and Stripe); we do not receive or store your full card number or bank credentials.
- Usage & technical data — application version, feature usage, presence/heartbeat signals (used to show live/online status and enforce license limits), diagnostic logs, IP address, and general device/browser information.
- Support communications — information you provide when you contact us for support or other inquiries.
- Copy-trading data — if you use the mirror (leader/follower) features, we process the trade signals, connection relationships, and settings needed to route copied activity between participating accounts.
Credentials you enter to connect a brokerage or platform (for example Rithmic, Tradovate, or NinjaTrader logins) are used locally to establish your own connection to that platform. SniperFlow.ai does not collect, transmit to our servers, or store your brokerage passwords.
3. Data That Stays on Your Device
PTR-Tracker is a desktop application, and much of your trading information is stored locally on your own computer, not on our servers. This typically includes your trade history, journal entries, expenses, milestones, notes, P&L calculations, and application preferences (such as your selected theme and trader name).
This local data remains under your control. You can export it using the app's "Export My Data" feature and remove it by uninstalling the application or deleting its local data folder. Because it lives on your device, protecting your computer with a password and standard security measures helps protect this information.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including license activation and validation;
- Process subscriptions, renewals, and related billing through our payment processors;
- Enforce plan limits such as the two-device activation policy, and detect misuse or unauthorized sharing of licenses;
- Enable optional features you turn on, including copy-trading (mirror), presence/online status, and market-data connections;
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- Monitor, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Services;
- Send you service-related communications (for example, license, billing, security, or update notices); and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal data: performance of a contract (to provide the Services you subscribe to), legitimate interests (to secure, operate, and improve the Services and prevent misuse), consent (where required, such as certain communications), and compliance with legal obligations.
7. Service Providers
We use trusted third parties to run the Services. These include, among others:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, storage, and application/back-end infrastructure;
- PayPal and Stripe — subscription payment processing;
- Trading platforms and market-data providers you connect to — such as Rithmic, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Kinetick, OMNE, and dxFeed — which operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Each provider is permitted to use your information only to provide services to us, except that payment processors and connected platforms act as independent controllers of the data you provide directly to them.
8. Data Retention
We retain account, license, and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Diagnostic logs and technical data are typically retained for a shorter period. Data stored locally on your device is retained until you delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your license key, account credentials, and device secure.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under applicable law.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@sniperflow.ai. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
12. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. International Transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
14. Third-Party Platforms
The Services connect to third-party trading platforms, brokers, prop firms, and market-data providers. Your use of those platforms is governed by their terms and privacy policies, not ours. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
16. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, contact us at support@sniperflow.ai.
