Key takeaways

  • Every firm here except Take Profit Trader makes you wait trading days or winning days before a payout.
  • Almost every 50K funded account holds back a buffer of about $2,000 to $2,100 before you can withdraw.
  • Consistency rules range from none (TPT PRO, MFFU Rapid) to 50% (Apex, MFFU Builder).
  • Rules differ by plan inside the same firm, so check the exact plan before you buy.

Payout rules are where prop firms really differ. Two accounts can have the same drawdown and profit target, and one still pays you weeks earlier. This table compares the 50K funded account rules that decide when and how much you can withdraw.

What each rule means

Days before payout. The number of trading days (or winning days) you need between payouts. Apex needs 5 trading days. Tradeify Flex needs 5 winning days of at least $150 each, which can take much longer than 5 calendar days.

Consistency rule. Your best day cannot be more than a set share of your total profit for the cycle. At 50%, a $1,000 best day means you need at least $2,000 total profit before you can request a payout. It punishes one big day.

Buffer. Profit that has to stay in the account. On most 50K funded accounts you need roughly $2,000 to $2,100 above the starting balance before the first withdrawal. That is profit you earned but cannot touch yet.

Payout caps. The most you can take per request. Apex starts at $1,500 for the first payout on a 50K and steps up from there.

Which firm pays fastest?

If speed matters most, Take Profit Trader PRO and the daily plans at Tradeify and MyFundedFutures let you withdraw as often as daily once the buffer is built. Apex and Lucid run on a cycle of trading days.

If you want no buffer, no consistency rule and no minimum days at all, a perps prop works differently. See the Vest Markets review and perps prop vs futures prop.
