Key takeaways
- I paid $146.25 for the evaluation to get a $10K GOLD tier account, built with no daily loss limit and code SNIPERS.
- After passing, one NQ trade on the funded account made +$403.92, which covered the eval 2.8 times over.
- I requested two payouts 10 hours and 43 minutes apart, $855.54 net in total. Vest has no minimum days, no buffer and no cap.
- The size was big: about $500K of Nasdaq exposure at 50x, so a 36-point move against me would have cost $600. Read the risk section before you copy this.
Prop firm marketing loves the word "fast". Here are the receipts instead: what I paid, what I traded, and what came out, with every screenshot from my own Vest account.
Step 1: the build ($146.25)
Vest lets you build your own evaluation. I picked a $10,000 Gold, 1-Step account and changed one thing that matters a lot: no daily loss limit.
| Setting | My pick | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Account size | $10,000 (Gold) | Funded at $10K once I pass |
| Evaluation | 1-Step | One phase, then funded |
| Profit target | 10% ($1,000) | Make $1,000 to pass |
| Max drawdown | 6% static ($600) | Stay above $9,400, and the floor never moves |
| Daily loss limit | None | A bad morning can't end the account on its own |
| Profit split | 80% | I keep 80% of every payout |
| Price | With code SNIPERS (2.5% off) |
The standard Gold build with a 3% daily limit costs $78 with the code. I paid about $68 more to remove the daily limit, so the only rule that can close the account is the $9,400 floor.
Step 2: passed
This is the screen Vest shows when you hit the target: "Evaluation Passed. Your $10,000 Funded Account is now live." The last trades on that screen are an NQ long (+$128.11) and a BTC long (+$184.99), which shows how one Vest account trades both index and crypto perps.
Step 3: one trade paid for the eval
On the funded account I stuck to NQ. Eight trades in my Positions History, eight green, with both longs and shorts. The biggest one:
That single trade made back the cost of the evaluation almost three times. Everything after it was profit on Vest's money.
Step 4: two payouts, 10 hours 43 minutes apart
Vest has no minimum trading days, no consistency rule, no buffer and no payout cap. So when there's profit in the funded account, you can claim it. I did that twice:
| Payout | Requested | Gross | Net (80%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Oct 4, 2026 · 11:06 PM | $515.48 | $412.39 |
| 2 | Oct 5, 2026 · 9:49 AM | $553.94 | $443.15 |
| Total | 10h 43m apart | $1,069.42 | $855.54 |
The net amount is exactly 80% of the gross, which is the split I picked in the build. Both payouts showed "Processing" when I took the screenshot. Vest credits claims to your primary account within 24 hours, and from there you withdraw USDC to your own wallet.
Vest also issues an official certificate for each payout:
The risk I took (read this before copying it)
This worked, but the size was aggressive, and I want you to see the math:
- Leverage: every funded trade was 50x, about 16 NQ-PERP contracts. At $31,000 that's roughly $500,000 of Nasdaq exposure on a $10,000 account.
- What a point costs: at that size, each NQ point is about $16. That's how a 24-point move turned into +$403.92.
- How close the floor is: a 36-point move against me costs about $600, which is the whole 6% drawdown on a $10K evaluation. NQ can move 36 points in seconds.
- Equity based: Vest counts open trades. If a losing position touches the floor, the account closes immediately, even if the trade would have come back.
No daily loss limit doesn't make this safer. It just means one bad day can't end the account unless it reaches the floor. If you copy the build, size down until a normal stop costs a small piece of your drawdown, not most of it.
How to copy the build
- Go to Vest Markets and open the evaluation builder.
- Pick $10,000, 1-Step, 80% split, no daily loss limit and a 10% target.
- Enter code SNIPERS at checkout: $150 becomes $146.25.
- Pass the $1,000 target without closing below $9,400, then claim profit whenever it's there.
Want a cheaper start? The standard Gold build with a 3% daily limit is $78 with the code, and Silver ($5K) is $39. All the plans are in my Vest Markets review. For how Vest's payout rules compare with Apex, Lucid, TPT, Tradeify and MFFU, see who pays you first.
FAQ
How much does a $10K Vest evaluation cost?
The standard 1-Step Gold ($10K) is $78 with code SNIPERS. My bespoke build with no daily loss limit cost $146.25 with the code ($150 without it).
Can you take two payouts in one day at Vest?
Yes. Vest has no minimum days, no buffer and no payout cap, so you can claim profit whenever your funded account has it. My two requests were 10 hours and 43 minutes apart.
What profit split did I get?
80%, the split I picked in the builder. My $515.48 and $553.94 gross payouts became $412.39 and $443.15 net. You can choose 90% in the builder for a higher price, and Instant accounts pay 95%.
Are these results typical?
No. This is one account and one good run, shown as an example, not a promise. Many evaluations fail, and trading with high leverage can close an account in seconds.
